Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
RankHQ (“we”, “us”) is a team of SEO specialists. This policy covers our website at rankhq.app and the RankHQ apps our team uses at apps.rankhq.app. Questions about it go to team@rankhq.app.
This website
rankhq.app sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and loads nothing from third parties. Our web host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
If you use the audit request form or email us, we receive your name, email address, website and anything you choose to tell us. The form sends this to our team inbox by email; the website itself doesn't store it. We use it only to reply and to provide the services you ask about, keep it for as long as we're working together, and delete it whenever you ask.
The RankHQ apps
The RankHQ apps (SEO research, CRM, analytics and team mail) are internal tools. Only members of the RankHQ team can sign in, and every sign-in passes through access controls on Cloudflare.
Data from Google
A team member can connect a Google account to the RankHQ apps. When they do, Google asks them to approve read-only access, and we receive only what they approve:
- Google Search Console (read-only): search performance data such as queries, clicks, impressions and rankings for the sites the account can access.
- Google Analytics (read-only): traffic and conversion reports for the properties the account can access.
- Gmail and Google Calendar (read-only, only if a team member connects them in the CRM): message and meeting details, used to file work conversations against the right client.
- Basic profile: the account's name and email address, so we know which account is connected.
How we use it. Only to show this data to the signed-in RankHQ team inside the apps, for example in SEO reports, rank tracking and client records, and to do the work our clients hire us for.
What we never do. We don't sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to build user profiles for any other purpose. We don't use it to train AI models. People don't read it except to provide the feature a team member asked for, with consent, for security purposes, or where the law requires it.
Sharing. We share Google user data only with the service providers needed to run the apps: Cloudflare, which hosts the apps and stores their data, and, when a team member uses an AI assistant feature, the AI model provider that generates the answer. These providers process the data only to deliver that service to us.
Limited Use. RankHQ's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and security
App data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. All connections use HTTPS, every request passes Cloudflare's access controls, and only signed-in team members can open the apps.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep data from a connected Google account while the connection is active. To stop access, disconnect the account in the RankHQ apps or remove “RankHQ” at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To have stored data deleted, email team@rankhq.app and we'll delete it within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing team@rankhq.app. We'll reply within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
